Rural Living

TO develop the AGRICULTURE BIG DATA technology platform for the Farms including smallholder owned, to better understand weather patterns, soil changes, water requirements, and carbon emission.

TO create provincial AGRITOWER RURAL LIVING LABS in NW, MP, LI, NC provinces for ACCESS to Ai, 4iR, 5G, and Earth Observing Based satellite technologies to serve the Agriculture communities across the Agri value chain and ecosystem.

Crop Management

Precision farming, Precision agriculture, satellite farming, or site-specific crop management is a farming management concept based on observing, measuring, and responding to inter and intra-field variability in crops.

Principles of Precision Farming

The goal of precision farming is to define a decision support system (DSS) for whole farm management with the goal of optimizing returns on inputs while preserving resources.

We often see crop variations within our fields but still manage them the same….why?? The concept of Precision agriculture is designed to move farmers from blanket field recommendations to within-field, site-specific recommendations using tractors with GPS enabled application equipment.

Livestock management

The livestock farming already uses one third of global arable land and 8% of available freshwater. It is also largely responsible for deforestation and biodiversity loss, and contributes 15% of global CO2 emissions.

Under the business as usual (BAU), meat emissions would increase from 5.2 Gt per year today to almost 8 Gt in 2050 . To keep global warming below 2°C, meat emissions have to be decreased to 3.2 Gt by 2050.

Keeping global temperatures below the agreed level means that global meat production cannot meet even half the demand in 2050.

If global warming is to be kept within 2°C above pre-industrial levels, only 41% of global meat demand can be met by 2050

The impact of livestock farming on natural resources is under further pressure from consumers demanding higher quality products and readily available information

Our farming services combine soil mapping with satellite imagery (satellite farming) to determine the level of variation in soil properties across each one of your fields. We use this information to identify different management zones within each field, and then provide you with recommendations to help you reach maximum potential in each zones.

We can help you to push down farming costs and drive up farm profits.
